I took my Art A-level at the age of 62. Sadly, I was diagnosed with breast cancer while still studying. The topic question for the A-level exam was Body Image.
This was one of a series of monoprints I did, trying to capture something of my feelings about my body. I was on chemotherapy treatments at the time, feeling only half a woman. It was also the church period of Lent, echoing that I was feeling very alone.
